When is the Color Run Fundraiser?

-
The Color Run FUNDRAISING REGISTRATION is NOW OPEN and will be taking donations through Wednesday, October 23rd. All donations must be in by this date.
-
The Color Run EVENT will take place on Wednesday, October 16th.
What is the COLOR Run Fundraiser?

-
It is the largest FUNDRAISER for the Country Oaks Elementary PTA. It's a multi-week-long program that culminates in an event at school that promotes healthy habits while also raising funds needed for the PTA general fund.
-
Each student is asked to raise at least $100 to support these programs, but any dollar amount is greatly appreciated. All donations are tax-deductible. Our goal is 100% participation!
-
Online only donations will be accepted
-
Students earn prizes for raising money! There are individual prizes, classroom incentives, and school-wide incentives.
-
The culmination of the fundraiser is the Color Run event. At this event, students participate in warm-up exercises, run through color stations where colored cornstarch is gently tossed on their COE shirts (provided by Hersh-Beattie Orthodontics), and enjoy some playtime outside.
-
The event occurs during the normal school day.
Why is the color Run Fundraiser so important?

-
The PTA provides enrichment for our students that cost thousands of dollars annually. This annual budget comes from THIS fundraiser and membership dues and includes things like school-wide assemblies and technology, playground updates, art, PE, and music supplies, classroom enhancements, and field trips.
-
View the link to our PTA "Points of Pride." This will provide you a detailed list of what the PTA supports.
-
For our Color Run Fundraiser the school’s goal is to raise $40,000. This will help continue to support all the programs the PTA has traditionally funded.
-
The PTA strives to not ask families to fundraise multiple times per year so if you are able please support this drive!

VOLUNTEERS needed

-
We need many volunteers to help make this event memorable for the students!
-
The link to volunteer to help at the event will be available to you once you register your student for the Color Run. You will see that link in your "parent dashboard" once you register.
-
All parent volunteers must complete a Criminal Background Check Form (CRC) to be considered as a volunteer at Country Oaks. It takes over two weeks for these forms to be processed and approved/denied and you must be approved in time for the event in order to volunteer.
-
Complete just ONE FORM per person per school. If you are approved through Country Oaks you will be approved for the entire HVS school district (should you have students at multiple schools). If you have already turned in a Criminal Background Check form to another school in our district, please inform the main office.
